Hike Description:

Annadel State Park is near Santa Rosa in Sonoma County. This is a loop hike on the Kenwood side of Annadel, starting from the Lawndale Rd trailhead. We'll hike up the Lawndale Trail to Ledson Marsh, then take the Marsh Trail to the junction with Two Quarry Trail where we'll have lunch. After lunch we'll continue on the Marsh Trail past Buick Meadow to the Ridge Trail which will take us back around the marsh. We'll take the Schultz Trail down to Schultz Rd, then hike down the road to get back to the Lawndale Trailhead. You can optionally shorten the hike to 6 or 7 miles by turning back from the marsh or lunch spot.
Sorry, dogs are not allowed on the trails at Annadel.

Trailhead Directions: From Santa Rosa, drive east on Hwy 12 towards Kenwood. Just before Kenwood, turn right on Lawndale Rd. Stay on Lawndale as it makes some sharp turns. The trailhead parking area is about 1 mile ahead, on the right.

Recommended Clothing:

Wear layers to adjust to changing temperatures, and boots or shoes with trail-gripping tread. The trails at Annadel tend to be rough and rocky.

Recommended Food:

Please bring lunch, plenty of water, and a snack.

Rain cancels.
