Redwoods and other wooded areas are my favorite places to hike. The Moose and I really enjoy getting out for a few miles of enjoying Nature from time to time. The Moose likes water the best of everything, except maybe squirrels, which clearly belong in trees.

- Climb Up: Two for one uphill Glen Canyon Park and Twin Peaks (and of course a cold beer reward)
- Hike description: We will meet outside the Glen Park BART station entrance. From there we will walk towards Glen Canyon Park. It is a city park that occupies about 70 acres along a deep canyon adjacent to the Glen Park, Diamond Heights, and Miraloma Park neighborhoods. It has a nice uphill climb. After exploring the park we will walk across Portola Drive to Twin Peaks. Yup. it\'s a two-for-one uphill adventure. After seeing the view on top of Twin Peaks I am sure we will be quite parched so we will descend and walk to West Portal for a frosty beverage. This is a point A to point B so plan accordingly for transportation.
