Beautiful trek with many water features, it takes around 4 hrs at normal hiking speed.
Hike Description:
Trekking to Kheer Ganga, an adventurous journey into the world of nature’s beauty and serenity. This is an amazing experience, and it’s just like traveling to a different world.Khirganga is situated in Parvati Valley at a distance of 22 km from Manikaran. For Khirganga, one has to go by motor-able road up to a place called ‘Barshaini’ and from there to Khirganga on foot. This trek leads through hilly terrain.
After the climb you are rewarded with release from all your pains during the day and get to bathe in the hot spring and rejuvenate yourself. :)
Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive at Barshaini.
Day 2: 4-6 hour long trek to Kheer Ganga. Enjoy the excellent hot water springs, stay overnight in tents or small hotel type accommodation; late evening( maybe a campfire), dinner in the cool and natural environment.
Day 3: 4 hours downhill walk back to road ahead. Get vehicle to Kasaul.
Things to carry: A sturdy pair of shoes, a backpack, food for the trek uphill and downhill, a raincoat, a torch.
