Trailhead Name: Columbus Circle Entrance Into Central Park

Trailhead Name: Jackueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir

Trailhead Description: Bathrooms are only available at local businesses outside the park. Parking is available on the street, but it is unrealistic to expect to find any in this area. The meeting point is near the reservoir path, but just off the path because the path around the Jackueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir is narrow and we do not want to block people who are walking while we wait for our group to meet.

Routes and Trails You Can Travel

Route Name: Jackueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir Loop

Route Description: A 1.6 mile loop around the pleasant Jackueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. The walk is very nice and comparatively quiet. There are views of the reservoir, the park, and the giant skyscrapers right outside the park. The path is used by runners and walkers, but not cyclists. There are also NO dog walkers on this path, and people are very civil about sharing the path.
